Gunstock
Gunstock is awesomely located next to Lake Winnipesaukee, giving boarders and plankers an exceptional view as they traverse the slopes. Access to The Big Lake also conveys four-season recreational opportunities, making Gunstock a popular choice for skiing and snowboarding in the winter, before transitioning to mountain biking, hiking and ziplining in the summer.
Better yet, Belknap County owns the resort, and we love the independence. A family-friendly mountain, Gunstock has terrain for every type of skill level. It's also only two hours from Boston, which is excellent for weekend warriors looking to escape the city.
All in all, one of our favorite ski resorts in New Hampshire.
